Rumors About IU's Hospitalization Untrue

On February 28 rumors about IU being hospitalized from overworking spread like wildfire among online communities and social networking services like twitter. The rumor seemed to be true as her scheduled appearance at Incheon Culture and Arts College‘s entrance ceremony on February 29 was cancelled and many fans started to worry about IU’s health.  

An official from IU’s agency, Loen Entertainment, stated that the rumor is untrue. He said, “IU has a cold. She went to go see a doctor, but was not hospitalized. It’s not a big health issue like the rumor makes it to be and fans need not to worry.” IU will participate in Korean Music Awards ceremony as scheduled on February 29 at 7pm KST.
