T-ara's Management Sues Overseas Companies For Illegal Circulation of Music
On February 29, it was reported that T-ara’s management is filing a lawsuit against certain overseas companies that illegally distributed it’s music.
T-ara’s management, Core Contents Media, discovered that certain companies in the Southeast Asian area were rearranging and circulating songs by the artists under their management without notice. Therefore, Core Contents Media took things to the police in December of last year. The illegal music companies currently distributed 16 tracks by four different groups including T-ara’s “Roly Poly,” and other songs by See Ya, Davichi and 5Dolls. Core Contents Media has discovered that the circulated tracks have either been rearranged without notice or have a different singer’s voice recorded onto the track.
Currently, police are investigating whether these companies have the rights to circulate songs by the Core Contents Media artists.
