IU Reveals CF Teaser Slurping Down Noodles

Recently, we told you guys about IU’s new commercial for the instant noodle company, Nongshim. And now, a teaser for the commercial has been released. The teaser was released on March 16, and had the curious title of “IU’s Love Story Like Slurping Noodles.”

In the 30 second teaser, IU plays an unknown singer who tries to complete a song with the help of a noodle shop employee. IU seems to be singing somewhere on a university campus, but no one pays her any mind. No one except the noodle deliveryman. She goes to his shop and orders Kal Gook Soo, and happily slurps down the noodles. After getting some inspiration, she starts writing a new song.

If you listen, she’s singing “Hoo. Hoo. Hoo. Hoo Roo Rook.” The name of the noodle brand is “Hoo Roo Rook Kal Gook Soo” and “hoo roo rook” is the sound of noodles being slurped down. The teaser ends by telling the viewers to come back for the full version on March 19 on Nongshim’s website. It is being presented as an interactive movie. IU’s voice is as sweet as ever, and a teaser for a commercial is a pretty neat idea.
