SHINee's "Sherlock" Sweeps Online Music Sites
SHINee released new album “Sherlock” on March 19. Immediately after the release, the title song “Sherlock” topped all major online music charts such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and Olleh Music. “Sherlock” was also the most searched keyword on major search portal websites.
“Sherlock” is of a new genre called “hybrid remix,” which means the song consists of two independent songs that are remixed together to create a new style of music. World-renowned choreographer Tony Testa was in charge of the choreography, adding extravagant onstage presence to this eclectic genre of music. The song is already getting positive reviews online and fans are excited to see on-stage performance. Netizens commented, “‘Sherlock’ is surprisingly really good,” “The song took over all online charts!” and “I can’t wait for the live performance of ‘Sherlock!'”
The album “Sherlock” was internationally released through iTunes on March 19. It has successfully grabbed the attention of internationals fans and listeners. “Sherlock” entered the top 10 of both Japanese iTunes and the U.S. iTunes charts. “Sherlock” will be released offline on March 21.
Currently, SHINee is passionately and diligently preparing for their upcoming comeback stages. Fans will be able to see SHINee onstage throughout this weekend starting with Mnet “M! Countdown” on March 22.
