2AM's Jo Kwon "I Get a Lot of Stress Because of My Height"

Male idol group 2AM‘s Jo Kwon admitted that he uses insoles to protect his self-esteem. 

Jo Kwon appeared on the March 19 broadcast of KBS 2TV “Star Life Theater,” and expressed the stress he receives because of his short height.

During this broadcast, Jo Kwon revealed the insoles he wears during his activities and said, “Honestly, I receive a lot of stress because of my height. Even recently, I saw an article about myself titled, ‘How thick are his insoles?‘” 

He continued, “My real height is 173cm (5’8”). When I’m carrying out my activities, I usually wear insoles to match the other 2AM members’ heights and to protect my pride.” His honest comments created laughter amongst the staff. 

On a more serious note, Jo Kwon also talked about the hardships he had faced during his teenage years as a trainee. He shed tears as he talked about the scars he had received from various people and also revealed that he even went through depression.
