TVXQ’s First Foreign Group to Have 10 Singles Rank #1 on Oricon
TVXQ set a new record as “Still” reached #1 on the Oricon charts. The single “Still” was TVXQ’s 36th Japanese single released on March 14. According to Oricon Style, “Still” rose to #1 on the Oricon weekly single chart March 20. “Still” was TVXQ’s 10th single to reach #1 on the Oricon charts. It was the first time that a foreign singer or group has achieved this type of feat in Oricon’s 45 year history.
TVXQ now has 26 songs that have reached into the Oricon Singles Top 10. TVXQ broke BoA’s record of 25 songs having reached into the Oricon Singles Top 10.
TVXQ will soon hold a Japan tour. It will begin at Tokyo Dome from April 14-16, and then there will be 3 more concerts at the Osaka Dome from April 21-23.
