Yoon Eun Hye Addresses Weight Gain Rumors

Over the weekend, actress Yoon Eun Hye was in Hong Kong for the “6th Asian Film Awards,” where she participated as one of the ceremony presenters. Once the event was over, netizens began posting screen captures from the show to various internet communities. Unfortunately, some of the screen shots captured Yoon Eun Hye looking fuller, causing netizens to go on a debate as to whether or not she had gained weight.

Earlier today, a representative from Yoon Eun Hye’s management agency stated, “She returned to Korea yesterday, March 20, after completing all her award ceremony related activities. A celebrity can look slimmer or chubbier in photos and videos depending on the [camera] angles they were shot. Yoon Eun Hye was distressed when she heard the claims about her getting fat.” 

The representative explained, “She weighs almost the same as she did last May when she was shooting SBS’s ‘Lie to Me.’ Yoon Eun Hye is the type who bloats easily. As a result, she’s frequently asked ‘have you gained weight?’”
