miss A Suzy's "Architecture 101" Still #1 on Korean Box Office, Korean Films Are Steamrolling in 2012!

The Korean media is stating that a “Korean Film Renaissance is going on.” Currently “Architecture 101” which stars Han Ga In and miss A’s Suzy is #1 on the Korean box office. Since “Dancing Queen” was #1 on the box office back in January 19, Korean films have been #1 for 67 days!

According to KOFIC, (The Korean Film Council) “Architecture 101” had 224,395 viewers on March 25. Currently, the film has racked up 716,992 viewers. Currently #2 on the box office is the French film, “Untouchable: 1% Friendship” and following as #3 is “Helpless.”

The next Korean film that is highly anticipated is Lee Bum Soo and Ryu Seung Bum’s “The Corpse Has Come Back” which will release on March 29.

“Architecture 101” is a love story between architect Seung Min (Uhm Tae Woong) and client Seo Yeon (Han Ga In). They met in college and fell in love. Fast-forward 15 years, they meet again when she visits his office as a client. Suzy and Lee Jae Hoon play the younger counterparts of Han Ga In and Uhm Tae Woong.
