IU Has Close Call With Parrot on Japanese MV Set

During a recent music video shoot in Japan singer IU had an interesting encounter with a parrot.

Not long after the aforementioned meeting, an online community bulletin board posted a few images from the music video set.

The pictures that appeared online were taken behind-the-scenes. In the first image IU is seen posing with a parrot while making the “victory” sign with her fingers. In the photograph it is apparent that her fingers were pointed toward the parrot’s open mouth. Unfortunately, the subsequent photo showed IU receiving medical aid for what seems to be an injured finger.

Netizen’s undoubtedly responded to the incident with great concern, “Oh no the parrot bit IU,” “You have just become the public’s enemy parrot,” and “I hope IU is okay!”

What an unfortunate accident.  Hopefully it was nothing too serious.  We wish IU all the best.
