SHINee to Finish "Sherlock" Promotions in Korea This Week
SHINee is wrapping up “Sherlock” promotion in Korea after a month-long successful streak. SHINee presents perfect live stage with powerful and groundbreaking choreography with “Sherlock,” satisfying both audio and visual needs of fans, viewers, and listeners. As a result of “Sherlock’s” extremely wide popularity, SHINee extended their promotion for a week in Korea. Fans and viewers will be able to see the goodbye stages of SHINee this weekend on various live music performance programs.
SHINee has had a short and yet, extremely successful career with “Sherlock.” They won the first place on KBS “Music Bank” two weeks in a row, followed by winning Mutizen Song on SBS “Inkigayo” on April 15 with “Sherlock.” Also, their mini album, which was released on March 21, topped the monthly chart on Gaon Charts by selling 135,370 copies.
SHINee and “Sherlock” also gained international popularity immediately after the release. “Sherlock” was placed 8th on US iTunes Album chart and 9th on Billboard World Albums chart. Moreover, the music video of “Sherlock” was introduced in France on a famous talk show “Le Petit Journal,” proving SHINee’s big presence in global music industry.
After finishing off “Sherlock” promotion in Korea, SHINee will begin “The First Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2012” on April 25 in Fukuoka, Japan.
