Soo Ae to Come Back to Big Screen with Blockbuster Film "Cold"
Soo Ae has been cast to play the main character in new film, “Cold.” The film “Cold” is a disaster blockbuster about catastrophic breakout of a viral disease, which is thought to be an extreme type of cold, and struggles of a firefighter and physician in saving lives and looking for the host of this virus.
On April 16, Soo Ae’s agency Star J Entertainment and production company IHQ announced that Soo Ae confirmed to participate in “Cold.” Soo Ae will be making a come back to the big screens after focusing solely on TV drama for two years. Her last movie “Midnight FM” was back in 2010.
Director Kim Sung Soo of “Beat,” “City of the Rising Sun,” and “Musa” will be directing. He is also making a comeback after nine years of hiatus in his career with “Cold,” garnering much attention from excited movie fans. Actor Jang Hyuk has been casted to play Soo Ae’s partner role. Once the entire cast and crew members are finalized, “Cold” will start filming in May until August.
