TVXQ Has Over 550,000 Fans in Japan Come See Them
TVXQ had over 550,000 fans come see them on their Japan tour. A representative from their agency, SM Entertainment, said, “With the ‘Live Tour 2012 – TONE‘ that started in January, they drew in about 550,000 people.”
This Japan tour is the first after about four years. On January 18, they started off their tour in Yokohama Arena. Afterwards, they went to Nagoya, Fukuoka, Niigata, Sapporo, Hiroshima, Sandome, Osaka, Tokyo, and a couple of other cities. In total, they went to 11 cities and had 26 performances. From April 14 to April 16, over a span of three days, they drew in 165,000 people for the largest space, Tokyo Dome. Foreign stars that held a concert at the Tokyo Dome for three consecutive days are Michael Jackson and Backstreet Boys. TVXQ is the third.
From April 22 to April 24, TVXQ will draw an end to their tour at the Osaka Kyocera Dome. All the tickets were sold out and an estimated 135,000 fans is believed to come in the three days. With just a week, they go from Tokyo to Osaka and draw in 300,000 fans. They have set a new record.
TVXQ’s journey doesn’t end here. On June 30, starting with Japan’s Saitama Super Arena, they are planning to have eight fan meetings. Without a doubt, at this fan club event that is being held in four years, it estimated that about 100,000 fans will gather.
