Old Photos of Girls' Generation Pique Netizens' Interest

Recently, past photos of Girls’ Generation surfaced various online communities, surprising fans with the girls’ younger selves. Titled “Girls’ Generation’s Old Photos,” they were taken approximately seven years ago and are of Seohyun, Sooyoung, Yuri,  Sooyoung, and YoonA.

In the photos, Seohyun looks similar to her current self, sporting a long, straight hair. Other than her baby fat and her darker skin, young Sooyoung is still highly recognizable. However, netizens were extremely surprised with Yuri. Had she not been labeled, it would have been nearly impossible to identify her in the photos alone. Her features – for example, her eyes – are different from her features now. YoonA is noticeably one of the skinniest girls in the photos, showing off her small face and distinct features.

Netizens commented, “They’re so different now,” “The girls look so young,” “I had no idea that was Yuri,” “Only Seohyun is the one who hasn’t changed, and more.

Meanwhile, Yuri, YoonA, and Sooyoung are busy with their acting careers. Yuri currently stars in SBS “Fashion King” with Yoo Ah In and Shin Se Kyung, while YoonA acts in “Love Rain” with Jang Geun Suk. Sooyoung is also filming tvN “The Third Hospital” with Kim Seung Woo, Oh Ji Ho, and Kim Min Jung. Seohyun is currently promoting under Girls’ Generation’s unit group TaeTiSeo with Tiffany and Taeyeon.
