B.A.P’s "Power" Album Sold 30,000 Copies in One Day
Rookie group B.A.P’s popularity is soaring through the roof.
On May 3, B.A.P’s agency, TS Entertainment stated, “After B.A.P’s second single album, ‘POWER‘ was released on April 30, 30,000 copies were sold out in a single day.”
According to the daily Hanteo charts, B.A.P went from 4th place on May 1 to 2nd place on May 2, right beneath TaeTiSeo’s “Twinkle.” On another sales record site, HOTTRACKS, B.A.P’s “POWER” trumped TaeTiSeo’s “Twinkle” and took the 2nd place spot underneath Busker Busker’s first official album. The competition between B.A.P and TaeTiSeo is looking fierce!
“POWER” was also ranked in the top three spots for the iTunes Store, “Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums” category in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Aside from the 30,000 copies sold in Korea, B.A.P had achieved great success even overseas.
TS Entertainment commented, “The CD hasn’t been delivered to overseas venues yet so orders are stacking up really fast. We have already gone into re-ordering more CDs for distribution.”
Congratulations to B.A.P for such a successful album!
