BEAST's Hyunseung to Make Musical Debut in "Mozart!"

BEAST’s Hyunseung is ready to shine on the musical stage! It has been announced that the idol will be taking on his first musical role in the musical “Mozart!”

Last year, Hyunseung teamed up with 4Minute’s HyunA to form the sub-unit, Troublemaker. Hyunseung showed off his vocal talent in this project and will further display this in his upcoming role in “Mozart!”

“Mozart!” is Hyunseung’s first foray into the world of musical acting. JYJ’s Junsu first took on the lead role in the show when it first began its run in 2010. The musical is about the life story of the renowned composer but with a twist – the story takes place in a modern setting with Mozart sporting dreadlocks and ripped jeans.

Hyunseung will begin performing in “Mozart!” on July 10 and the show will continue to run until July 28 at the Sejong Cultural Center. Tickets for the show will be available on May 24.
