Big Bang Returns to the Oricon Chart

According to the charts published by Oricon on May 9, Big Bang‘s fifth mini album “ALIVE,” which was released back in March 2012, reappeared on the top 10 of Oricon’s Daily Chart. “ALIVE” has been ranked highly since the album’s release. It has been about 50 days since “ALIVE” was released, but the love and support from Japanese fans for the album continues. 

Some are crediting Big Bang’s winning of Best Fan award at “2012 MTV Italy TRL Awards” for the continuing success of the album in Japan. On May 5, Big Bang became the first Asian artist to win Best Fan award at “2012 MTV Italy TRL Awards” after competing with other worldly renowned artists like Avril Lavigne, One Direction, and more. The news made headlines in Japan. 

Meanwhile, Big Bang will kick off “Big Bang ALIVE Tour 2012 in Japan” on May 17. They will be visiting Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama, and Fukuoka to meet 150,000 excited Japanese fans.
