Lee Seung Gi Receives Movie Proposals
Actor/singer Lee Seung Gi is receiving love calls from the movie industry. On May 9, his agency, Hook Entertainment, stated through a phone call with Sports Hankook, “Proposals for him to appear in movies is growing.” At the moment, he is acting in the MBC drama, “The King 2hearts,” where he plays the role of Lee Jae Ha, the king of a fictional South Korea.
His agency said, “In the past, there were proposals for movies. However, after ‘The King 2hearts,’ there are more scenarios coming in. The degree of satisfaction for Lee Seung Gi is high right now because of the atmosphere he brings to the set and for his acting.”
Still, it will be difficult to see Lee Seung Gi on the big screen at the moment. On June 1, he will be holding a concert at the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. He is also planning on having a concert near the end of this year. His agency talked about his future plans by saying, “We are thinking about just focusing on singing and doing various things with that.”
Lee Seung Gi starting his acting career through KBS 2TV drama, “Famous Princesses,” in 2006. He also appeared in SBS “Shining Inheritance” and “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox.”
