f(x)’s Krystal Criticized for Staring Down at Kara’s Han Seungyeon?

Recently, a screenshot of f(x)’s Krystal staring down at Kara’s Han Seungyeon was recently captured and has been receiving mixed responses.

On May 17, a photo with the titled “Krystal who looks like she’s going to hit Seungyeon” was uploaded onto a famous online portal. The photo had captured a screenshot of the episode of “Running Man” that was aired on May 13.

Krystal and Han Seungyeon guested on “Running Man” and paired up with Gary and Yoo Jae Suk, respectively. The female guests wore wedding dresses to the delight of many an uncle fan.

However, Krystal’s cold glare toward Seungyeon was not received well by many netizens.  In the clip (which you can watch if you click on the blue play button on the top right of the screenshot), Krystal is scarily staring down Seungyeon who is answering a question in front of her. She has her arms crossed and her head cocked to one sign, emanating a “scary school unnie” vibe. Beyond looking confident, some netizens noted that she looked haughty.

Netizens commented, “Isn’t this too much? Han Seungyeon is still her senior.” , “’High Kick 3’s’ An Soo Jung has returned,” and “It looks like lasers are going to shoot out of her eyes.” On the other hand, some netizens defended Krystal and said, “Let’s not criticize just based on the way the show was cut/edited,” “It was a concept for the fun,” and “Her competitiveness must be great,” and more.
