Why Did IU Give T-ara’s Jiyeon a Fake Bag?!

During a recent recording for SBS “Strong Heart,” IU revealed that she gifted a fake bag to best friend Jiyeon from T-ara. Following the recent media and public attention regarding her designer backpack, IU was asked once more about the trendy fashion piece.

IU started, “I went to Dongdaemun, bought two identical bags, gave one to Jiyeon, and used the other myself,” displaying her close relationship with the singer-actress. She continued, “However, I later found out that the bag was an imitation,” stating that she unintentionally presented a replica to Jiyeon.
