Appearing on the May 28 episode of MBC “Come to Play,” Ryeowook shared a funny conversation between himself and his father that happened when he used to weigh over 189 pounds. He first unveiled his old overweight photo, and said, “There was a time when I used to weigh over 189 pounds (86 kg). On a national holiday, I was enjoying the food I had, but my father came over and scolded me to stop eating.”

He added, “I was just eating my food, but it made me feel really frustrated because he wouldn’t let me eat…I think it’s because I finished all the kalbi there.”
