Girls’ Generation’s YoonA Voted First Love Icon

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA was recently voted the female celeb who evokes netizens’ fond memories of their first love. The poll was conducted on one of Korea’s largest online communities DCINSIDE from May 22^nd to 29^th, and 14,711 people participated in the survey.

YoonA won by a landslide, taking home 42.7% of the votes. With her long flowy hair, innocent face, and bright personality, YoonA secured her title as the “first love icon.” She successfully portrayed the essence of first love not just once, but twice in her recently ended drama “Love Rain.”

Han Hyo Joo followed YoonA with 28.7% of the votes. The girl-next-door looks and personality to appeal to the public. Her friendly image allowed her to pull off any character that was given to her.

Han Ji Min came in third with 8.6%. Her petite figure, angelic face, and big brown puppy eyes charmed her male fans, stirring up their protective instincts. Other notable celebs in the poll included Moon Geun Young, Bae Suzy (miss A), and Han Ga In.
