T-ara's Jiyeon and IU's Funny Photo Battle on Twitter

On June 5, T-ara‘s Jiyeon posted on Twitter, “You need to fatten up a bit…you look so much better, my Ji Eun” along with a picture. The revealed picture shows chubbier IU, sporting a double chin. Her relatively chubby face creates a rather comic contrast with her still slim body.

Following Jiyeon’s post, IU also posted a picture on twitter and commented, “Jiyeon picking IU’s nose in Japan.” In this picture revealed by IU, Jiyeon is standing in front of a large IU photo panel with her finger pointed at one of the nostrils of IU, posing as if she is really picking the nose of gigantic IU picture.

Netizens commented, “Jiyeon’s photo is funny, but fat IU? It’s shocking,” “Jiyeon totally won this one,” “IU’s still pretty when she’s chubby,” and “Both Jiyeon and IU are so cute!”

Prior to their funny photo battle, IU and Jiyeon also displayed their much cherished friendship on Twitter. Jiyeon first mentioned to IU, “I’m sorry I couldn’t make it to your first concert. You still did a great job, right my little one?” and IU responded, “It was amazing, no joke. Come to either Daegu or Busan.” Jiyeon replied back, “Okay. I’ll go with the purse you got me when I go back to Korea.”
