Crown J to Resume Promotional Activities, Will Hold Showcase on June 9

Rapper Crown J, who once suspended his activities due to controversial and legal issues with marijuana and violence toward his manager, is planning to come back with a showcase for his new track.

Crown J will hold this showcase at a club in Seoul on June 9. He will be showcasing three tracks that will be in his official album, which is set to be released in July. The three tracks are, “You Can’t Follow Me,” “B.R.B.” and “Money In The Sky.”

Crown J stated, “I have prepared this showcase with a determination to have a new start like the beginning for all my fans” and “The tracks will be released one by one starting in July. They won’t be on sale right after the showcase because I want to create a music video for all the new tracks and release them each at the same time.”

He continued, “Despite all the bad things that happened, I want to release my new music videos and tracks for all the fans who were steadfast and waited for me” and “I want to thank all of the people who cheered for me and I will try my best to stand on stage.”

Crown J has received a verdict of non-guilty in the case of assaulting his ex-manager. He was sentenced to 6 months of jail time and a year of probation. Crown J’s agency deemed this unfair and is planning to make an appeal.
