Multinational Rookie Group Cross Gene Aims to be #1 in Asia and Unleashes MV for

Multinational rookie boy band Cross Gene, consisting of members from Korea, China and Japan, have made their debut.

Cross Gene’s Shin, Sang Min and Yong Suk are Korean; Casper and J.G. are Chinese and Takuya is Japanese. The boys of Cross Gene held a showcase for their debut album “Timeless” on June 7.

They performed their title track “La-Di Da-Di” along with “Sky High” and “For This Love,” in an energetic and passionate manner, which left quite an impression.

After the performances, Casper stated, “With the start of today’s showcase, we will work hard in Korea. We want to be Asia’s #1 and we want to go on world tours later on as well.”

Leader Takuya stated, “We are so happy that so many people came and we thank you all. I still can’t believe that this is out debut stage. I am glad that we can show you what we’ve been practicing for so long.”

Shin, who is also an actor (Shin Won Ho) said, “Since we are such a unique group that holds members from three different countries, I think we are able to show you a special kind of charm.”

Cross Gene has been produced by the widely known Universal Music and Amuse with hopes for the boys to become the pop star representatives of Asia. Many reporters and interested parties from each country attended this showcase.

Cross Gene has unleashed the music video for “La-Di Da-Di” today. “La-Di Da-Di” is an electronic dance track with a euro-club style. It has a strong groove and an addicting hook.

Cross Gene will have their debut stage on June 14 at Mnet’sM Countdown.
