SM Entertainment's Documentary Film

The premiere of SM Entertainment‘s new documentary movie “I AM” is delayed once again. The distributing company CJ Entertainment announced on June 8, “The premiere of ‘I AM: SMTOWN Live World Tour in Madison Square Garden,’ which was scheduled to be on June 10, has been delayed.”

Previously, “I AM” was scheduled to hold press preview on May 30. However, the preview was cancelled, followed by indefinite delay in opening of the movie. Many fans were disappointed at the news. As of now, the new premiere date has not been set, yet. CJ Entertainment stated, “We are still working on some post-production stuff. As soon as we have a definite post-production schedule, we will announce the new premiere date of ‘I AM.’ We are really sorry that we could not bring ‘I AM’ to excited fans on time.”

CJ Entertainment also explained, “We are currently working on post-production sound effects for various scenes covering Madison Square Garden performances, interview scenes, and archived clips from the past.”

“I AM” is the first big screen film to document on and offstage lives of K-pop artists. The film will portray parts of “SMTOWN Life World Tour in New York,” SMTOWN artists’ passion in leading the K-pop hype as well as each individual artist’s earnest and easygoing offstage daily life. Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls Generation, SHINee, and f(x) will be featured in this film.
