Go Soo Favorably Reviewing New Historical Drama Deal

Actor Go Soo is favorably considering starring in a new historical drama, “Dae Poong Soo.”

On June 11, a representative from Go Soo’s agency stated, “It is true that Go Soo has been casted to star in ‘Dae Poong Soo,’ but nothing has been settled yet. We are still reviewing the offer. Currently, Go Soo is looking at this new project very favorably, but we are going to have some important discussions before making the final decision.”

SBS’s new historical drama “Dae Poong Soo” portrays a politically powerful scholars’ scheme to overthrow the existing empire in the late Goryeo dynasty and found Joseon dynasty with hero Lee Sung Kye has the new king. There will be total of 36 episodes and “Dae Poong Soo” will be airing in October.

Currently, Ji Jin Hee has been cast to play the main character, Lee Sung Kye. Ryu Tae Jun, A Pink‘s Son Na Eun, Lee Seung Yeon, and Lee Jin will be starring in the show, too. The news about big named stars appearing in “Dae Poong Soo” is drawing  much attention from the public even before the show starts filming.
