After School Stuck in Japan Due to Typhoon

After School was supposed to fly back to Korea from Osaka, Japan on June 19, but due to local weather condition, all flights were cancelled. Typhoon Guchol has lashed extremely strong wind and heavy rain in southwestern Japan. With the next typhoon, Typhoon Talim, also on its way to Japan, the weather condition does not seem to get better anytime soon.

After School went back to Tokyo for another night at a hotel after their flight cancellation. A representative from After School’s agency Pledis commented, “We are looking for a flight tomorrow morning since the airport completely closed down today. Currently, there’s nothing we can do other than just wait and be prepared to fly back as soon as the weather clears up.”

Due to extreme weather condition in Japan, After School’s come back schedule in Korea has been delayed. They were initially scheduled to come back on June 20 and prepared a media day regarding the release of their upcoming single. However, all of After School’s upcoming promotion in Korea now has to be rescheduled.

After School successfully held an exclusive concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan on June 17. They will reveal the big master plan for the team after Kahi‘s graduation when they come back to Korea.
