Kang Min Kyung Confirmed for "Haeundae Lovers"

Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung has been confirmed to join the cast of upcoming KBS drama, “Haeundae Lovers.”

Sources from the KBS drama department spoke with Star News on June 27. “Kang Min Kyung has been confirmed for ‘Haeundae Lovers.’ She participated in the first script reading that was held on June 25.”

They continued, “Kang Min Kyung’s visuals and image were so on par with the character in the drama. We’re already excited to see what she has to show us as an actress.”

Kang Min Kyung will play Hwang Joo Hee, who is a high school friend of Go So Ra (played by Jo Yeo Jung) and a hotel secretary. Hwang Joo Hee is the type of woman who knows she is pretty and uses almost half of her income to pamper herself. Kang Min Kyung’s character will have a puppy-love relationship with the hotel’s vice president, which will be played by Jung Suk Won.

Earlier, T-ara‘s Soyeon was confirmed for the drama as well. “Haeundae Lovers” will be shot entirely in Busan and will air after “Big” ends on August 13.
