SISTAR’s Hyorin to Join T-ara’s Eunjung on “Saturday Night Live Korea”

SISTAR’s Hyorin will join T-ara’s Eunjung on the July 7 episode of “SNL Korea 2,” the production team said in a statement. This week’s episode will be co-hosted by Eunjung, ex-S.E.S. member Bada, and Horan, under the “Single Lady” special concept. Hyorin is expected to make appearances in some of the live skits on the show.

Hyorin has shown her prowess in acting through KBS drama “Dream High 2” earlier this year. But this is her first try at live comedy, making many fans curious as to how she will do. Also, it will be interesting to see how two girl group idols match up against each other in a live comedy setting. In particular, Eunjung was part of the first season of “Dream High,” creating an odd rivalry situation between two former “Dream High” cast members.

“Both stars are excited about the show, and they are both willing to go all out to make the viewers laugh,” the production crew said about the casting.

“SNL Korea 2” is the second season of “Saturday Night Live Korea,” a Korean adaptation of the highly popular American comedy show. Lately, it’s been attracting a lot of attention for its “adult comedy” content. This week’s show will air on July 7 at 11PM KST through tvN.
