Wonder Girls’ Sunye and Her Biggest Supporter

On July 11, Wonder Girls’ Sunye shared a picture taken with her grandma, dubbing her “one of my best supporters.”

In the photo posted on her Twitter page, Sunye is seen having a meal with her grandma at home. She’s holding on to a mic while sitting next to her table, showing her singing talent was already there when she was a little kid. Alongside the photo, Sunye wrote, “One of my best supporters.. I love u grandma!”

Netizens that came across the photo commented, “Sunye was born with the musician genes,” “She’s so adorable,” and “This photo just brought tears to my eyes.”

Sunye spent most of her childhood growing up with her grandmother in Sokcho, the eastern part of the country. Her parents were too young and financially-stricken back then, and they were forced to have Sunye live with her grandmother.

Meanwhile, Wonder Girls are busy promoting their new single, “Like Money,” featuring U.S. hip hop/R&B artist Akon, which was released on July 10.
