New stills of Lee Min Ho filming “Faith” have surfaced online. As shown in the photos, the actor is dressed in his Goryeo warrior garb while holding up a modern-day police shield. Lee Min Ho’s character, Choi Young, is described as a skilled and loyal warrior who is a man of his word. He doesn’t care for politics and has no ties to the world; hence, he does not fear death.

Despite wearing heavily layered warrior suit in temperatures near 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), Lee Min Ho never lost his smile and joy during the long shoot. A representative of the production team shared, “While he was probably tired from the busy shooting schedule in the hot weather, Lee Min Ho never showed signs of fatigue and was fully engaged in the shoot, which allowed others to continue working in high spirits.”

Meanwhile, Faith” is another time-warping, historical fusion drama where a plastic surgeon, played by Kim Hee Sun, mysteriously meets a strange man dressed as a warrior from the Goryeo Dynasty, played by Lee Min Ho, claiming that he’s here to take her “back.” The series marks Lee Min Ho’s first sageuk (historical drama) since his debut and Kim Hee Sun’s return to the small screen in six years. Check out the first trailer for the series here.

“Faith” will premiere on August 13 at 9:55PM KST on SBS.
