"Time Slip Dr. Jin" Extension Confirmed

The producers of “Time Slip Dr. Jin” recently confirmed their decision to wrap up the drama after airing two more additional episodes than originally planned.  The producers released the following statement, “We hoped by extending the drama series by two episodes our broadcast would not interfere with the 2012 London Olympic Games nor call for the cancellation of the series.”

Actor Lee Bum Soo recently shared the bittersweet sentiments of the rest of the production group with the following statement at the “Time Slip Dr. Jin” press conference, “We have often wondered wistfully whether our drama series might have received greater support if it were a 40-50 episode series rather than a 20 episode series. If “Time Slip Dr. Jin” went to 50 episodes and SBS’s “A Gentleman’s Dignity” went to 50 episodes, I wonder what would happen.”

“Time Slip Dr. Jin” is a story about a modern day neurosurgeon who travels back in time 150 years ago to the olden days in Korea where he must relearn what it takes to become a great doctor. The drama series features Song Seung Hyun, Park Min Young, Kim Jae Joong, and Lee Bum Soo.
