Upcoming SBS drama “To the Beautiful You,” starring f(x)’s Sulli and SHINee’s Minho, unveiled more teaser stills today. Shot on July 12, the scene was Sulli and Minho’s first scene together. According to producers, when the camera was on, the two displayed great chemistry, acting cold and awkward around each other, just as the script stated. However, once the camera was off, the labelmates showed off their close friendship as they played around in between takes.

Based on the popular Japanese manga “Hana Kimi,” “To the Beautiful You” is the first TV drama produced by SM Entertainment’s new video contents division, SM Culture and Contents. Jeon Ki Sang, who is no stranger to producing dramas that are based on Japanese manga – having produced “Boys over Flowers” in 2009 – will direct the series.

The romantic-comedy is about Goo Jae Hee (Sulli), an extreme fan girl of champion high-jumper Kang Tae Joon (Minho), who tries to make a comeback from a career-threatening injury. To help revive his career, Jae Hee impersonates a guy to attend Tae Joon’s all boys high school. The original manga had a Japanese drama created in 2007 and a Taiwanese version produced in 2006. Both versions were extremely popular, and many international fans are showing great interest in the Korean remake.

“To the Beautiful You” will premiere on August 15 on SBS.
