JYJ Junsu to Begin World Tour in August

JYJ‘s Junsu is embarking on a new journey. He recently confirmed cities he will be performing in as a part of the world tour concert series in the Americas. Junsu will be at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, USA on August 30. This venue is popular among famous Hip Hop artists like P.Diddy, Nicki Minaj, Nas and so on. Previously in 2010, JYJ held their first showcase in the U.S. at this venue. After the kick-off of his solo world tour in NYC, Junsu will travel to perform at Los Angeles to perform at Hollywood Palladium on September 2.

In South America, lucky fans in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile will be able to see Junsu’s performance in person. He will be performing in Mexico City, Mexico on September 6, São Paulo, Brazil on September 8, and Santigo, Chile on September 10. Previously, JYJ performed in Santiago in March as a part of JYJ’s world tour concerts and was enthusiastically welcomed by excited K-pop fans.

One of the representatives working on Junsu’s concerts in South America commented, “South Amercian fans are going wild with excitement upon hearing the news about Junsu performing here. To be honest, we understand that the South American tour is not as appealing as other options he has in terms of expenses and profits. However, as C-JeS predicts, it is going to have positive effects on Junsu, JYJ, and K-Pop in the Americas.”

Through his agency C-JeS Entertainment, Junsu commented, “Recently, I have been working on a new single and its music video in the states. I am very happy with the results and cannot wait to meet all of my fans in the world.”
