T-ara Plans for Comeback Concert in Japan

Despite all the controversy, T-ara revealed plans to hold a Japanese Arena Tour some time in the following year.

On August 2, Core Contents Media told local media, “T-ara is in discussion for an Arena Tour Project in Japan with EMI Japan and J-Rock.”

“Due to the Japanese fans’ tremendous support, we’re shooting for early next year to have a T-ara Arena Tour Concert. We’re currently recruiting staff members for the event,” it added.

Core Content Media added the Hwayoung controversy made T-ara grow and mature as a group and it gave them a chance to reflect on themselves. “We believe bringing good music is the only way to return the love to our fans, so we’ll do our best moving forward,” the agency said.

The Arena Tour is estimated to bring in at least 10,000 to 15,000 fans for each concert, which would result in a total of 150,000 fans for the entire tour. T-ara held a successful Japanese tour concert in June, and their last two concerts in Tokyo, held on July 25 and 26, were also sold out.

Since their Japanese debut in 2011, T-ara has released consecutive hit singles, including “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Ya Ya Ya,” “Roly Poly,” and “Lovey Dovey.” They are planning to come back with a new Japanese single, “Sexy Love,” in October.

Meanwhile, T-ara announced yesterday that they will indefinitely postpone their first solo concert in Seoul, scheduled for August 11.
