Hwayoung spoke with local media and addressed issues surrounding her new agency.

On August 3, Star News quoted a source who met with Hwayoung and Hyoyoung the night before, and said, “Hwayoung is exhausted from the whole controversy, but she’s doing her best to collect herself and calm down. She vowed to refocus and work harder moving forward.”

It continued, “Hwayoung said she has no immediate plans to sign with a new agency. She’ll focus on finding peace and going back to her normal life.”

“She’s really upset with all the speculative reporting going on. But she’s working on her recovery, and taking songwriting classes, so she’s doing her best to get back on track,” it added.
