B.A.P's Bang Yong Guk Tries to Show Aegyo But...

B.A.P‘s leader Bang Yong Guk has recently caused much laughter due to his “aegyo” or cute charm.

On August 8, Bang Yong Guk was a guest on the MBC radio program, “Younha’s Starry Night” along with Him Chan, B1A4‘s Shin Woo and Jin Young.

Parodying a popular “Gag Concert” segment called “Four Things,” the radio show hosted a special corner called, “The Four Things that Your Man and My Man Don’t Have.” During this corner, the four guests read stories submitted by listeners and discussed the personal qualities that each of them don’t have.

One particular listener submitted a story that commented on Bang Yong Guk’s lack of “aegyo” and requested on him singing the quintessential “aegyo” song, “Three Bears,” with a baby voice.

Bang Yong Guk is well-known for his low voice and is often called, “Charisma Bang.” So people were excited to hear how he would carry out this request.

He asked “Do I really have to do this?” but continued to execute the request and sing “Three Bears” in a baby voice. But his “aegyo” mission was considered a fail and he finished the song in his original voice. Bang Yong Guk mentioned that he gave “aegyo” a try in a previous radio show but his fans commented, “Please don’t show us your aegyo any more,” which made the whole studio laugh.
