Jang Geun Suk Tweets Support Message for Hip-hop Group Phantom

Jang Geun Suk has shown a support message for hip-hop group Phantom‘s newly released song, “Seaweed Soup.”

On August 6, Jang Geun Suk tweeted, “Wow this ‘Seaweed Soup’ song has kindly been released just in time for Asia Prince’s birthday carnival. Phantom hyungs’ song goes so well in the morning,” along with a photo of Phantom’s album cover.

Phantom’s new song “Seaweed Soup” is about a man who forgot his lover’s birthday and promises to cook her a great seaweed soup. Seaweed soup is a customary birthday soup in Korea. Jang Geun Suk’s birthday was on August 4, which coincided with this track’s release.

Phantom’s “Seaweed Soup” is currently under the spotlight and is enjoying high ranks on various music charts.

In other news, Jang Geun Suk recently participated in the UMF Korea 2012, which is an electronic music festival.
