PSY Tops Justin Bieber for Most Watched Video on YouTube Last Month

PSY’s “Gangnam Style” music video was the most watched video on YouTube in the past month, surpassing music videos by Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and Jennifer Lopez.

On August 14, YouTube revealed their chart for the “Most Viewed Videos” last month, and PSY’s “Gangnam Style” MV came out on top with more than 28 million clicks. It was by far the most watched video on YouTube, as the second highest viewed clip was Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me,” which generated slightly over 21 million views in the same period.

The third most watched video was Michelle Jenneke’s World Championships race clip, followed by music videos by Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, and Lil’ Wayne, respectively.

The feat was particularly impressive since he topped videos in “All Categories” and “worldwide.” Since its release in mid-July, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” has dominated local music charts and is becoming an international sensation.
