PSY Breaks Into Tears After Seeing a Performance From Superstar K4

Singer PSY‘s tears caught the attention of many.

On the August 16 broadcast of Mnet‘s audition show “Superstar K4” captures of PSY crying were revealed. In the revealed screenshots, PSY is seen clapping at first then suddenly bursts into tears, showing another side than his usual cheerful and strong image.

According to a staff member of “Superstar K4, “While PSY listened to the army preliminaries, he was deeply moved and impressed by one of the contestant’s performance, leading him to break into tears.” PSY then told the staff member, “I was deeply touched. I have been moved by a lot of contestants when I watched the show as a viewer but seeing it up close is even more touching and made me realize that I made the right choice by joining the show as a judge.”

Meanwhile, viewers expectations for PSY as the new judge of Superstar K4 are high. PSY replaced previous judge and singer Yoon Jong Shin.
