Jang Nara's Manager Passes Away after Suffering a Heart Attack in China

Singer Jang Nara‘s long term manager Kim Hyo Shik passed away in China after a heart attack. On August 21, Jang Nara’s agency posted an announcement on their official website, NaraJjang.com, regarding this tragedy.

The post reads, “Today afternoon at 1:36pm (local time), Mr. Kim, who has been working as Jang Nara’s manager, suffered from a heart attack and was immediately transported to a hospital. Although emergency medical treatment was performed, he did not make it.”

The post continues, “Mr. Kim was working diligently with Jang Nara throughout her movie promotion all over China for her upcoming film. We cannot help but to grieve the death of a good friend. Jang Nara cancelled all her future schedules to mourn, too. As a company, we are taking appropriate actions for the dead and his family.”

Kim has been working as Jang Nara’s manager since 2009. His wife is expecting to give birth in October.
