T-ara's Eunjung & Jiyeon's Cameo Appearance on "Shut Up Family" Removed

T-ara’s Eunjung and Jiyeon’s cameo appearance has been edited out from KBS’s latest daily sitcom “Shut Up Family.”

A representative from the production team stated, “We have decided to remove Eunjung and Jiyeon’s cameo from tomorrow’s episode. Many viewers have repeatedly requested that their portions be cut out.”

When news about Eunjung and Jiyeon’s cameo appearance on the sitcom first hit the internet, it was met with heavy opposition from the public who were still angry over T-ara’s alleged bullying controversy. The production team revealed that the cameos were filmed prior to the T-ara incident and that the girls only had two lines. Hence, they were unsure whether to air the portion or not. With the continued public backlash, the production team caved in and decided to respect the viewers’ wishes.

Meanwhile, Eunjung has been dropped from MBC’s popular variety show “We Got Married,” as well as SBS’s new weekend drama “Five Fingers.”
