Ha Ji Won Goes Glam for "InStyle" Pictorial

A pictorial featuring actress Ha Ji Won in fashion magazine “InStyle” has been publicized.

Versatile actress Ha Ji Won who has in recent years made a name for herself as the go-to actress for tough and fierce action roles goes glam in “InStyle.”  It all began with her role as female stunt woman Gil Ra Im who wins the heart of actor Hyun Bin’s character the eccentric Kim Joo Won in body-swapping fantasy 2010-2011 SBS drama “Secret Garden.”  She was so believable as an innately tough stuntwoman who could hold her own in weapons play with the boys that she was then cast as North Korean Special Forces officer Captain Kim Hang Ah in the 2012 MBC drama “The King 2 Hearts” opposite multi-talented and multi-tasking extraordinaire Lee Seung Gi.

In this pictorial, the normally monotone-wearing Ha Ji Won wears clothes of diverse colors, patterns, materials, and textures.  The photographs show Ha Ji Won’s graceful and elegant side while still allowing her mischievous and boyish charms to show through as well.  Though Ha Ji Won often put aside vivid colors as being too loud and burdensome, she decided to give vivid colors a try in this pictorial.  Ha Ji Won commented that sometimes when one feels a little depressed or low, one should try to something different; and that was fashion therapy.

Ha Ji Won was recently cast as the leader of a band of women, with fighting skills as killer as their looks, in period action comedy movie “Three Joseon Angels” which seems to be a nod towards its inspiration, “Charlie’s Angels,” along with actress Kang Ye Won and Brown Eyed Girls member Ga In.
