Kollaboration DC to Hold 3rd Annual Talent Competition this September!

The highly-anticipated third annual Kollaboration DC will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 7PM at the George Washington University Lisner Auditorium. Hosted by comedian Walter Hong, a member of Black Sheep Comedy, the showcase will include guest performances by J-Pop artist Salia, electronic duo Atoms Apart, hip-hop group SNRG, rapper Manifest, and last year’s grand prize winner of Kollaboration DC Lumi Bustamante.

Ten acts will be competing for the grand prize, which includes $1,000 in prize money, an HD camera furnished by MNET, and an opportunity to compete in Los Angeles for the chance to perform at the MNET Music Video Awards in Tokyo this November. As a bonus, the winner of the 3rd annual Kollaboration DC will also open for David Choi and Clara Chung at the historic Howard Theatre on November 10, 2012. This year’s lineup includes singer-songwriters Christopher L. Santa Ana, Robyn Kim, Jin Shin, Rocka; spoken word performers Robert Park and George Yamazawa Jr.; dance groups GU Jawani and Mighty Morphing Boogie Rangers; singer/guitarist/rapper LacsaJacaKhan; and violinist Jonathan C. Chen.
