Boys over Flowers
Boys over Flowers is a Korean adaptation of the famous Japanese manga “Hana Yori Dango” by Yoko Kamio.
City Hunter
Lee Min Ho’s extremely successful series “City Hunter” is also based on a Japanese manga of the same name.
Playful Kiss
Kim Hyun Joong’s “Playful Kiss” was based off of Japanese manga “Itazura na Kiss.”
Goong (Princess Hours)
Yoon Eun Hye’s breakout drama “Goong (aka Princess Hours)” is based on popular Korean manhwa “Goong.”

Seo Woo’s “Tamra the Island” is also a drama adaptation of manhwa “Tamra the Island.”

“A Man Called God,” starring Song Il Gook and Han Chae Young, is an adaptation of a manhwa of the same name, written by deceased artist Park Bong Sung.

Moon Geun Young and Jang Geun Suk’s “Mary Stayed Out All Night” is based on internet comic “Mary Stayed Out All Night” by Won Soo Yeon.

Currently airing “To the Beautiful You,” starring idols f(x)’s Sulli and SHINee’s Minho, is the third drama version of the popular Japanese manga “Hana Kimi.”
