T-ara Offered Highest Guarantee Money for Hong Kong Showcase

T-ara was offered nearly $700K USD as guarantee money for their upcoming showcase in Hong Kong, local media reported on September 5.

The showcase, a special fan and press meeting event for their new album, is scheduled for September 18. It has already sold out all of its 3,000 seats and Core Contents Media said they’re planning to sell 500 to 1,000 additional standing tickets for the event.

According to CCM, the showcase was organized by a Hong Kong promoter who first contacted T-ara and offered record-high guarantee money to convince the group to hold the event amidst all the controversy.

Meanwhile, T-ara is set to hold their first comeback stage for new single, “Sexy Love,” on September 6 through Mnet’s “M! Countdown.”
