Lee Byung Hun Boldly and Clearly Says His Girlfriend's Name on the News

Actor Lee Byung Hun has openly spoken about his girlfriend Lee Min Jung on air for the first time.

On September 5, Lee Byung Hun appeared on “News Line,” which is a news program on KBS.

The anchor started off by telling Lee Byung Hun, “I’m going to ask you a personal question.” Lee Byung Hun responded, “Yes…” Then the anchor asked, “Your girlfriend’s name is…?” Then Lee Byung Hun clearly enunciated, “It’s Lee. Min. Jung” and afterwards, shyly laughed.

Lee Byung Hun appeared on “News Line” to talk about his thoughts on his Hollywood activities and his new film, “Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King.” Throughout the interview, he did not speak more about his girlfriend Lee Min Jung.

The upcoming film, “Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King” is a fictional historical film about a king named Gwanghae in the Joseon era. Besides Lee Byung Hun, it stars Ryu Seung Bum and Han Hyo Joo. This will be Lee Byung Hun’s first sageuk, or historical genre project.

“Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King” will hit theaters on September 19.
