"Instyle" Retrospective: Which Idol Girl Had the Best Photo Shoot?

f(x) members Krystal and Sulli posed for a photo shoot in the March edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  The concept of the spring photo shoot was a quirky, ethereal, forest maiden look which did not stay too far from f(x)’s image which is a mix of eclectic, kitsch, and pop influences.

Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung had a photo shoot which was featured in the April edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  Though her looks were modern with vibrant red jumpsuit and aqua blue trouser pants, there was also a ’70s retro vibe with the neon shadows make the looks fresh and funky.

Girls’ Generation member Yuri was another idol girl group member from SM Entertainment to be selected for a photo shoot which was featured in the May edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  In the photo shoot, Yuri modeled stylish looks for summer in black and white accessorized with dark shades.  The Girls are displaying a more grown-up, fashion-forward style.

Brown Eyed Girls member Gain is pint-sized dynamo in the May edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  The girl knows fashion and is not afraid to take fashion risks by matching a T-shirt with a silver, sequin, star-patterned mini skirt, and wooden platforms, or matching a formal jacket with tiny pants and a red tank.

Wonder Girls member Yoobin shows off a boss attitude in the August edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  In the photo shoot, Yoobin displays diverse ways to wear formal wear by pairing a deep emerald green miniskirt with a funky bejeweled tie and flippant pony tail, or wearing a ruffled red cape over leather.

After School member Uee is gorgeous and glowing in the September issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”  The photo shoot which was held in Hawaii’s National Tropical Botanical Garden was the perfect setting for Uee’s brightness and good looks as she modeled rugged styles in denim and khaki.
