“InStyle” Retrospective: Which Actress Would You Like to See in More Roles?
SBS variety/reality show “Running Man” regular Song Ji Hyo, nicknamed “Ace” for her quick wits in being able to pick up clues and make strategic decisions, was featured in the January edition of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
Song Ji Hyo became a household name after she played Min Hyo Rin who was the first love of Crown Prince Lee Shin in the 2006 MBC drama “Princess Hours” (also known as “Goong” which translates to “Palace”). The MBC drama “Princess Hours” also made stars out of Yoon Eun Hye, Joo Ji Hoon (currently starring in SBS drama “Five Fingers“), and Kim Jung Hoon. Since her first drama, Song Ji Hyo has acted in 2006-2007 MBC drama “Jumong,” 2011 KBS drama “Detectives in Trouble,” and 2011 MBC drama “Gye Baek.”
Song Ji Hyo also famously played the female lead role in the sexually-driven Goryo dynasty period movie “A Frozen Flower” which co-starred Jo In Sung and Joo Jin Mo.

Channel A drama “Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog” actress Yoon Seung Ah was featured in the April issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
After playing supporting roles in a slew of dramas including 2007 MBC drama “The First Shop of Coffee Prince,” 2009 MBC drama “Hero,” 2010 MBC drama “Playful Kiss,” and 2010 MBC sitcom “All My Love,” Yoon Seung Ah finally landed the supporting role of supporting roles by playing Seol who took it upon herself to watch over Crown Prince Lee Hwon’s first love Yeon Woo in 2012 MBC drama “The Moon That Embraces the Sun” which reached ratings of 40% and starred Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Il Woo, and Han Ga In.
The actress then followed it up with her first lead role as Pan Da Yang in Channel A drama “Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog” opposite Super Junior member Dong Hae.

Actress Park Han Byul, perhaps more famous for being singer Se7en‘s girlfriend of ten years, was featured in the July issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
Though the actress made her acting debut in the 2003 horror movie “Wishing Stairs,” and has played a number of supporting roles for the past ten years in eight dramas including 2003 SBS drama “My Fair Lady,” 2006 MBC drama “Couple or Trouble” (also known as “Fantasy Couple”), and 2010 SBS drama “Oh! My Lady,” break-through success has eluded Park Han Byul.

Actress Kim Sarang was featured in the June issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
Kim Sarang was crowned Miss Korea in 2000, and, though the actress has maintained a steady stream of CF and advertisement work due to her enviable figure and lovely face, Kim Sarang has acted in supporting roles for over ten years in eleven dramas which include 2003 SBS drama “Thousand Years of Love,” 2005 KBS drama “A Love to Kill,” and 2010 SBS drama “Secret Garden” while waiting for her big break.
Most recently, Kim Sarang gained great exposure through her supporting role as Yoon Seul who was a love rival of tough stunt woman Gil Ra Im, played by Ha Ji Won, for the eccentric rich heir Kim Joo Won, played by Hyun Bin, in “Secret Garden.”

Actress Han Hye Jin was featured in the June issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
Han Hye Jin is an actress who has not languished in supporting roles waiting for dramas to come calling but has instead been busy with star role after star role after star role for the past ten years. The actress has been in no less than 15 dramas in the past ten years and had the female lead role in over half of those dramas.
She most recently starred in 2012 jTBC drama “Syndrome” with Song Chang Ui and Park Gun Hyung, and in 2011 KBS drama “Thorn Birds” with Joo Sang Wook, Kim Min Jung, and Seo Do Young. One of her most well-known lead roles was as So Seo No who was the love interest of Jumong in 2006 MBC drama “Jumong” which costarred Song Il Gook and Kim Seung Soo.

Actress Park Shi Yeon was featured in the August issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.”
Actress Park Shi Yeon, though currently starring in KBS drama “Nice Guy” with co-stars Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won, is also no stranger to the hard slog to fame and fortune. The actress, who placed third in the 2000 Miss Korea competition, was unable to get a contract with an entertainment company in Korea but was noticed by a Chinese entertainment company and made her acting debut in China. She was at one point more well-known for being Shinhwa member Eric Mun‘s girlfriend than for her acting.
