PSY Followed by “Gangnam Style” Flash Mob at The Grove in L.A

Hundreds of fans showed up at The Grove in Los Angeles to perform a flash mob for PSY’s “Gangnam Style,” as the Korean rap sensation was being interviewed by the U.S. entertainment program, “Extra TV.”

On September 18, PSY held an interview with Maria Menounos of “Extra TV” in front of the popular shopping mall, The Grove. The show’s host walked next to PSY, with their arms locked, during the interview, and all of a sudden, hundreds of fans showed up from the back, singing along PSY’s megahit single, “Gangnam Style.”

PSY, initially looking surprised by the unexpected performance, later led the flash mob and gave all the fans and spectators a true photogenic moment. The fans were reported to have come out voluntarily after the producer of “Extra TV” announced in advance their scheduled interview with PSY.

PSY is currently on a U.S. media tour and will appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” next. “Gangnam Style,” with over 200 million views on YouTube, has been nominated for Best Video at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards.
